Oak Park and River Forest Newcomers and Neighbors is dedicated to helping those in need, both within our membership and throughout our community.
Newcomers help one another by providing courtesy meals to fellow members who are going through an extraordinary time. This could be anything from adjusting to a new baby in the house, to moving, to illness or job loss.
In the larger community, we support such organizations as PADS , Parenthesis, Headstart and the Animal Care League by hosting volunteer events and soliciting donations that assist these groups.
